THE GAME

About Taipei Rush

Taipei Rush is an independent browser city adventure with walking, scooter riding and car driving. Its Taipei setting includes places such as Ximending, night markets and Taipei 101, while the game's brands use fictional parody names. You can explore on foot, switch to a vehicle for a longer journey and use a map to choose a destination instead of wandering without a plan.

The built-in guidance connects those journeys to missions and city interactions. Your in-game phone provides tasks, and the map can set a navigation waypoint. Taking a moving vehicle can draw police attention, so a quiet trip and a chaotic one have different consequences. Wet roads also increase braking distance. Learning movement, interaction and vehicle handling first makes the city easier to enjoy as you choose which activity to follow next.

How to play

  • Explore on foot or travel using scooters, motorcycles and cars.
  • Use the phone for tasks and the map for navigation waypoints.
  • Manage vehicle handling and the consequences of attracting police attention.

Beginner tips

  • Press F to enter or leave a vehicle; practice braking with S before speeding up.
  • Use M to open the map and set a waypoint for a focused trip.
  • Begin braking earlier in rain because wet roads lengthen the stopping distance.
