About Grand Theft Auto III
Grand Theft Auto III places you in Liberty City as Claude, a criminal rebuilding his prospects after a betrayal. You move between jobs for competing groups, drive through busy streets and fight your way out of difficult situations. The open world gives you space between missions: a trip across town can become a chance to learn the roads, discover a useful pickup or simply explore a different neighborhood.
The core rhythm alternates between free movement and focused objectives. A mission might demand a specific vehicle, a quick escape or careful positioning, while your health, ammunition and wanted level shape how much trouble you can handle. Take the opening jobs slowly and learn where you can recover or save. Knowing a route and keeping a usable vehicle nearby can make a retry much easier than improvising everything at full speed.
