Choose a build with touch or controller input before loading a large game on your phone. For a quick touch session, start with 2048 or PrinceJS. For football or a shooter, compare PES 6, Quake III and Halo CE Mobile below; Halo also needs your own Xbox disc image.
Pick a game that matches your input
These are the mobile options documented by the projects, with different setup needs. 2048’s original project documents swipe input, and PrinceJS’s maintainer provides landscape touch and controller mappings.
| Browser project | Phone input | Prepare before starting |
|---|---|---|
| 2048 | Swipe gestures | Open the board for a short session. |
| PrinceJS | Touch or controller | Turn the phone sideways and learn its tap/drag controls. |
| PES 6 PSP port | Touch or USB/Bluetooth controller | Choose commentary and graphics settings. |
| Quake III — Pieter | Mobile and gamepad support listed by the host | Enter a player name and use the host’s input options. |
| Halo CE Mobile | Editable touch layouts or controller | Have your own .iso/.xiso and space for imported maps. |
Set up Halo touch controls before a demanding fight
Open Halo CE Mobile and choose Continue in the browser. Select your own Xbox Halo .iso or .xiso and allow the map import to finish. In Settings and data, choose a touch layout, edit button placement and tune aiming. For a controller, pair or connect it before playing. Campaign and local modes do not need the online account; matchmaking does.
Start PES 6 with the lighter settings
On the PES 6 PSP browser port, select Jugar sin relatos for the lighter no-commentary option. If play feels slow, the project recommends 1x internal resolution and 30 FPS in Gráficos. Open Controles to learn the touch or controller mapping before a match. Increase settings only after this baseline feels comfortable.
Keep enough room for files and saves
Halo CE Mobile copies maps into private browser storage, up to 1.8 GB, and offers Export saved games under Settings and data. Keep room for that map copy as well as the disc image already on your device. Finish importing before leaving the page, and keep a save backup before clearing that site’s storage. For the format differences between Halo builds or other own-file games, use the game-file guide.
Use a desktop for keyboard-and-mouse projects
A page opening on a phone does not give it touch controls. Surfd specifies desktop keyboard and mouse, and WebXash needs those inputs for proper play. RTCW recommends desktop Chrome for its large first load. For arena shooting on a phone, Pieter’s Quake III host specifically lists mobile and gamepad support.
