About QuakeWorld
QuakeWorld is the multiplayer branch of the original Quake, built for responsive online combat. This browser entry focuses on fighting other players rather than taking Ranger through the single-player campaign. The arenas reward quick reactions, useful routes and choosing a weapon that suits the distance of an encounter, so surviving is closely tied to how well you understand the map.
Begin by learning a compact route instead of chasing every opponent you see. Notice where useful supplies are located, which approaches expose you to several angles and where you can leave a fight. An unsuccessful exchange can still teach you a better path for the next life. The host uses the FTE QuakeWorld engine and advertises up to eight players, keeping the emphasis on a small, immediate multiplayer match.
How to play
- Fight other players in fast QuakeWorld multiplayer arenas.

- Stay mobile and recover from each respawn by rebuilding a useful position.
Beginner tips
- Learn two nearby exits before committing to a fight.
- Change weapons to suit the distance instead of using one for every target.
- After respawning, gather useful supplies before rushing back at the same opponent.
Play in your browser
The browser host is an unofficial QuakeWorld multiplayer client for up to eight players. It is distinct from the original Quake single-player campaign and the newer enhanced release.
