About Prince of Persia
Prince of Persia is the original cinematic platform adventure built around running, jumping and sword fighting. Your character’s movement has a deliberate physical rhythm, so crossing a gap is not just a matter of tapping a direction. You have to judge the approach, the jump and the place where you can safely land or catch a ledge.
The palace’s dangers make observation important. A trap, a loose floor or a guard can turn a rushed movement into a restart, while a careful step can reveal a safer plan. Spend the opening moments learning how the character accelerates and responds to a jump. Then treat each section as a small puzzle: identify the threat, choose a sequence of actions and commit only when you understand the timing. In sword encounters, patience and distance are often more useful than pressing the attack button continuously.
How to play
- Navigate platforms and passages by timing movement, jumps and ledge grabs.
- Observe traps and floor hazards before choosing a route through them.
- Use sword fighting and careful positioning to get past guards.
Beginner tips
- Practice a running jump in a safe place before attempting a long gap.
- Approach unfamiliar edges slowly so you have time to read the obstacle.
- Watch a guard’s rhythm and leave space to react instead of attacking without pause.
