About Cuphead

Cuphead turns a debt to the Devil into a series of lively, demanding battles. Cuphead and Mugman travel through strange worlds, taking on oversized enemies whose attacks transform as each fight develops. Studio MDHR combines traditional animation, watercolor scenery and jazz music to make every encounter feel like a playable cartoon from another era.

The original game revolves around boss fights, with weapons, super moves and hidden discoveries adding choices between attempts. Success comes from reading what an enemy is doing while keeping your own movement under control. A failed attempt is useful when it teaches you how to avoid one more attack. The original release also supports local cooperative play; the browser entry has its own menu and available content.

How to play

  • Dodge attacks while keeping pressure on changing boss forms.
  • Choose weapons and super moves that suit the encounter.
  • Explore the world map for fights and hidden discoveries.

Beginner tips

  • Learn one boss attack at a time before chasing a fast victory.
  • Keep room to move when a new attack begins.
  • Try another weapon if staying close to the boss is dangerous.
