About Blood

Blood is a horror-themed first-person shooter about Caleb’s fight against the cult of Tchernobog. Its levels mix dark humor, threatening enemies and a distinctive collection of weapons, from a humble pitchfork to a flare gun and stranger tools. Progress still follows the classic shooter pattern: explore a space, remove dangerous obstacles and find the route that lets you continue.

The difficulty comes from how quickly a poor position can become a bad encounter. Take the first levels slowly enough to recognize enemy attacks and identify cover before you need it. Save the stronger weapons for situations where they solve a specific problem, rather than firing them simply because you just picked them up. After an encounter, check your supplies and investigate nearby areas. A useful secret or a better route can change the next fight without requiring you to become faster at aiming overnight.

How to play

  • Explore horror-themed levels and find the paths and mechanisms that advance the mission.
  • Fight cultists and monstrous enemies with conventional and unusual weapons.
  • Manage limited ammunition and health while searching for useful supplies.

Beginner tips

  • Use corners and cover to limit how many enemies can attack you at once.
  • Keep explosive attacks away from your own feet and nearby obstacles.
  • Learn a weapon’s behavior before spending its ammunition in a crowded fight.
