About Morrowind · OpenMW Web
Morrowind is an open-ended role-playing game where you create a character and choose how to travel through the island of Vvardenfell. You can pursue the central story, join organizations or investigate the places and people you meet along the way. Skills, attributes, equipment and magic affect what your character can do, making preparation as important as the direction you choose to explore.
The original game’s fatigue system is especially useful to understand early. Running and fighting drain it, while low fatigue makes actions such as attacks and spellcasting less reliable. Arriving rested can therefore matter more than repeatedly clicking faster. Keep track of your journal, use equipment that matches your stronger skills and avoid carrying every object you find. A manageable first quest gives you a chance to learn these systems before venturing far from familiar services.
