About Ages of Conflict

Ages of Conflict is a map simulation in which AI nations compete for territory while alliances, revolts and other political changes reshape the world. You can watch the results unfold or intervene to push events in a direction that interests you. Its appeal is the story created by changing borders and relationships rather than personally commanding every unit in a conventional strategy battle.

The creator provides maps and scenarios, with broader editing and intervention tools in the full version. God Mode can change names and direct relationships such as war, peace or alliances. A small starting setup can become a surprisingly involved alternate history, especially when an early favorite loses ground or an unlikely rival expands. Compare different starting conditions and watch how geography and relationships alter the outcome.

How to play

  • Spawn nations and observe their territorial competition.
  • Watch alliances and revolts change the balance of power.
  • Use available intervention tools to influence world events.

Beginner tips

  • Begin with a few nations so border changes are easy to follow.
  • Let the simulation run before intervening to see its natural direction.
  • Change one starting condition at a time when comparing outcomes.
