About RimWorld
RimWorld is a colony simulation built around people who are poorly prepared for life on a remote planet. Their skills, histories and relationships influence the work they can do and the trouble they cause. You plan buildings, gather materials and organize labor, but a settlement only thrives when its inhabitants also have food, rest and reasons to stay reasonably happy.
An AI storyteller shapes the sequence of raids, weather, illness and opportunities, allowing each colony to become its own unfolding tale. A successful harvest can be followed by a fire or an injury that changes everyone's priorities. Different environments add their own survival pressures, and trading gives resources another purpose. It is a game about adapting a fragile society rather than executing one perfect construction plan from start to finish.
